National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) Public Tours
The National Center for Atmospheric Research offers a flood of fun facts about atmospheric science, climate change, and the NCAR mesa and building. See a photographic display of meteorological optics, a telescopic camera, working supercomputers, a gravity well and the Walter Orr Roberts Weather Trail. Redstone Meadery
Honey wine, the world’s oldest alcoholic drink, is made right here in Boulder. Visit Redstone Meadery at 4700 Pearl St., Unit 2A, for free half-hour tours weekdays at 1pm and 3pm and Saturdays at 12:30pm. Tasting room opens at noon. 720-406-1215.
