Sunset Strolls through the conservatory take place at 6:30pm July 8 and Aug. 12. Check the website for more about the Pavilion’s exhibits, special events, family workshops, kids’ camps and storytimes. 6252 W. 104th Ave., Westminster. 303-469-5441.

Interactive games and activities challenge the child in everyone, and volunteers are on hand to answer questions. Open 10:30am-4pm weekends. On Flagstaff Summit Road, about 3.5 miles west of Boulder on Baseline Road. 303-441-3440.

Herb Walk with Brigitte Mars

Each involves about two hours of easy to moderate hiking. A few hikes are listed below, but check the website for the full schedule. 303-678-6214.
