Boulder County Farmers Markets

BOULDER FARMERS' MARKET

Wednesdays and Saturdays: The Boulder Farmers’ Market has been going strong since 1986, with locally grown fruits and vegetables, plants and herbs, naturally raised beef and pork, artisan cheeses, fresh flowers, honey, breads and delicious prepared foods. The market is Saturdays from 8am-2pm and Wednesdays from 4-8pm, on 13th Street between Canyon Boulevard and Arapahoe Avenue. 303-910-2236.

Erie Farmers’ Market

Saturdays: The small but growing community of Erie is pleased to have its own farmers’ market, weekly from 8am-1pm, with farm-fresh produce, breads, pies, honey, wine, organic coffees, plants and cut flowers, and arts and crafts. In Old Town Erie, at the corner of Briggs and Moffatt.

LAFAYETTE FARMERS' MARKET

Thursdays: Lafayette’s weekly farmers’ market is 4-8pm through the summer, at Festival Plaza, Public Road and Chester Street. This year, in addition to Colorado fruits and veggies, bread, honey and cheese, there is also a community business booth, where a different local business will be featured each week, plus live music beginning at 6pm, and drawings and kids’ games. 303-449-2494.

LONGMONT FARMERS' MARKET

Saturdays: Rain or shine, the shady, tree-lined plaza is open 8am-2pm weekly with locally grown offerings like produce, bread, flowers, honey, crafts and farm-fresh eggs. At the Boulder County Fairgrounds, Hover Road and Boston Avenue.

LOUISVILLE FARMERS' MARKET

Saturdays: The weekly Louisville’s Farmers’ Market takes place at the Steinbaugh Pavilion, corner of Front and Walnut streets. Listen to live music as you browse the tents full of locally grown and produced foods and beverages. 9am-2pm.

Lyons Outdoor Market

Saturdays: This popular “hybrid” of a farmers’ market and a fine-arts fair is presented weekly in the summer from 10am-3pm. Held at 446 Main St. in Lyons, the event also includes children’s activities and live music.

MARKET FRESH AT TWENTY NINTH STREET

Sundays: 10am-2:30pm in Wachovia Bank parking lot.

NIWOT FARMERS' MARKET

Mondays through October 11: There’s local produce, flowers, bread and more, plus live music, free samples, kids’ games, and a special meal from Chef Dale, featuring a different local farmer each week. 3-8pm in Cottonwood Square near The Niwot Market, 7980 Niwot Road.
