Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse, Boulder ColoradoBOULDER DUSHANBE TEAHOUSE
1770 13th St. | 303-442-4993

Handcrafted in Tajikistan and reassembled in Boulder, the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is the only authentic Persian teahouse in the Western Hemisphere. Vibrantly painted ceilings, carved cedar columns and a sculpture fountain provide an airy ambience during the day and casual elegance at night. Begin with an appetizer such as Hawaiian poke (fresh tuna marinated with soy sauce, seaweed and green onion) served with pea shoot/ginger salad and sweet-potato chips. Entrées include Thai mussels in a fragrant green curry/coconut broth; khoresht e fesenjan—crispy duck breast with pomegranate-walnut sauce and butternut squash; and crispy Malaysian tofu with chile-and-herb salad, sweet soy-lime rice noodles, vegetables and Malaysian salsa. Finish with a thick slice of tangerine-tea gingerbread cake, as featured on the Food Network, prepared with herbal tea and served with five-spice whipped cream. Enjoy a selection of more than 100 premium looseleaf teas, gourmet coffees, chai, beer, wine and cocktails. Reservations required for traditional afternoon tea. In-house and offsite catering available. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily 8am-9pm. MC, VISA, AMEX, DISC and local checks accepted.

PRAHA RESTAURANT & BAR
7521 Ute Hwy. | Longmont | 303-702-1180

Reminiscent of a European country inn, the Praha offers dining in a casual atmosphere. Executive chef Monica was educated at the Salzburg Hotel School in Austria and trained with renowned chefs in Vienna, Krems and Retz. Today, she uses her training and artistic talent to combine old recipes with new flavors and ingredients, to give her guests a truly unique culinary experience. Judy, her sister and managing partner, has added some exciting, delightful and reasonably priced new wines to the menu. Enjoy the new bistro menu (starting at $8.95) and chef’s specials, and let Monica tantalize your taste buds! As Praha, so lovingly started by Vladimir and Jitka Smetana, begins its 33rd year of existence, it would like to thank its patrons for their support over the years. The Praha is ready to serve you and looks forward to the years to come. Located on Highway 66, halfway between Longmont and Lyons. Open for dinner Wed-Sat from 5pm-close and Sun 3-7pm. Open Mon-Tues for parties of 10 or more. Reservations recommended. Takeout available.
