Ballroom Dance EveningsJune 5: Danceophile Studio, 250 31st St., hosts monthly instructional dances in waltz, cha-cha, swing, salsa, tango and foxtrot—no partner needed. 7:30-10pm. Boulder Ballet: Ballet in the ParkJune 16 & 23: Boulder Ballet’s ninth season of free outdoor performances brings live dance to two area parks. Shows begin at 7pm, but come early with a picnic dinner.

Community Contra Dances1st and 3rd Fridays: Community Contra Dancing is a variety of New England and American folk dance with a few waltzes, hambos, polkas and square dances thrown in.
