Boulder County Youth Sports
Boulder County kids are active little things, and extensive local sports programs have a lot to do with keeping them that way. In addition to promoting a healthy lifestyle, youth sports are a great way for children to meet friends and learn how to be team players.

Rec centers offer classes in multisport triathlon, rock climbing, golf, volleyball, weight training, dance, gymnastics, swimming, tennis, judo, basketball and yoga, in addition to art, pottery and more. Also available are in-line hockey, football leagues and the Boulder Flyers Gymnastics Team.

KIDS' FENCING CAMPS

Northern Colorado Fencers offers week-long, half-day Summer Day Camps for boys and girls 8-14 years. Camps start June 2, including some all-girls sessions. All equipment is provided. Visit the website and download the Summer Camps brochure.
KIDS' FISHING PONDS
On the north side of Boulder Creek just east of 6th Street and adjacent to the Boulder County Justice Center parking lot.
Maintained by the city and stocked by Boulder Fish and Game Club, these ponds are for children aged 12 and under. Young anglers may keep their catch from these ponds.

Offers youth leagues including baseball/T-ball, soccer and basketball. Craft activities and youth fitness for preschool and elementary schoolchildren are available at the Arapahoe Center.
